The Golden Door Motel ceased operation as a business on September 4, 2017.
We have been purchased by The Staenberg Group, a development company, that
is planning on building a mall, “The Osage Beach Commons”. Dave and I are excited
for the Staenberg Group and the City of Osage Beach. This development will be
an excellent addition to the community.

The Golden Door Motel has been a landmark of the area for 53 years. The iconic Golden Door sign has turned and welcomed so many visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks.
While many, including us, will miss the motel, we all have our memories. Thank you for being a part of ours.
We have appreciated the patronage of our loyal customers and the people we have met over the last 35 years.
We are excited to begin the next phase of our lives as we retire, and will be living in the Osage Beach Area.
We hope we see you as you are out and about on your vacation.

 The Golden Door is a family owned, moderately priced, conveniently located Resort/Motel, in the heart of Osage Beach.  We have a resort atmosphere, with a heated pool and shaded picnic grounds.

Osage Beach is in the center of activity with the finest shops, restaurants, and entertainment the Lake of the Ozarks has to offer.  We are less than a block from the entrance to the Factory Outlet Village and within a mile of large marinas with boat and ski equipment rental.

Only a short distance away are entertaining country music shows, unique shops, shopping centers, Big Surf water park, numerous excellent golf courses, horseback riding, and many other fun things to do.

A park like setting sets the scene for our attractive and comfortable room accommodations which all surround the pool.  All rooms receive daily maid service.  The Penthouse and Deluxe units include a small refrigerator.

Pets are accepted, with approval, in some units.
